What is NBA League Pass's Blackout Policy?

Regular Season Local Blackout:

NBA League Pass has local blackout restrictions for regular season games. All live games will be blacked out in each team's home territory, except for certain NBA regular season and postseason games as described below.

Additionally, please note:

• Home territory blackout restrictions apply regardless of whether a team is playing at home or away and regardless of whether or not a game is televised in the team's home territory.
• Teams may be subject to blackout outside of the United States based on their home territory as determined by the NBA.
• Specific games involving the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings may be blacked out in certain regions, including the U.S. territory of Guam.

Regular Season U.S. National Blackout:

Due to NBA exclusivities, live national broadcasts and/or streaming of NBA events and select live national broadcasts and/or streaming of NBA games will be blacked out in the United States (including Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands). For a current listing of events and regular season games that will be nationally blacked out in the United States, click here. This list will be updated throughout the season.

Authenticated Access to National Games and Events via NBA League Pass:

Certain NBA games and events, such as the NBA All-Star Game and select postseason games broadcast nationally, may be available for live streaming via NBA League Pass to subscribers who are also eligible customers of a participating cable or video service provider ("Authenticated Access"). NBA League Pass subscribers who cannot authenticate with a participating provider will be blacked out from live streaming these nationally broadcast games or events.

Postseason Blackout:

During the NBA postseason, all live games, except for those games for which Authenticated Access is available, will be blacked out in the United States (including Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada due to NBA exclusivities.

Live Audio:

Live audio of games subject to the blackout restrictions mentioned above is available as “NBA Audio,” which is included with any NBA League Pass subscription.

Regular Season International Blackout:

Due to NBA exclusivities, select live broadcasts and/or streaming of NBA events and select live broadcasts and/or streaming of NBA games will be blacked out internationally outside of the United States.
